Membership
Although there is no minimum age for membership, we find usually that juniors are at least 14 years old to be able to handle the weight and size of the firearms, particularly the target rifles. There is no maximum age, as those limitations associated with advancing years tend to determine the shooters ability!
New members, new to shooting, can expect to serve a probationary period of three months before becoming an Associate Member of the Club. During this probationary period there is a training programme in which all necessary equipment is provided.
New members who are firearm certificate (FAC) holders will have to serve a probationary period; when they will be required to shoot six times in the three months, before becoming an Associate Member.
